It is a well known fact that Kodak produces excellent films.
Kodak Australia have been extremely generous in providing me with
the best products around that absolutely cover every scenario I
will encounter on my trip.
Different places on Earth, different faces - Portra
is the film I choose to work with to capture all of them. Versatile
enough for work in the studio or out doors under the sun, I know
I can count on the 160NC to reproduce color as the human eye sees
it. The 160VC enhances that effect and brings out colorful details.
The 400-speed PORTRA film lets me use more of the available natural
light and allows me to work in less than ideal weather conditions.
The color transparency film 100VS produces
intense, dynamic colors in general and with its really deep blues
for skies gives me the effects I really like. Being in nature, spotting
wildlife, riding along amazing sceneries I know I can count on this
film.
I love the versatility of the TMax range.
Finding a film that can handle most situations is really difficult
but I know the TMax is the one to count on. On a trip like this
where you can find yourself among all possible light conditions,
it is important to go for the most diverse of them all.
Black and White Infrared allows me to experiment
with my more artistic side. Creating incredible landscapes &
dramatic effects is easy with this specialist film.
For such a long journey I wanted to work with film because,
even though digital gives you instant results, film is a much more
versatile medium in terms of creativity.
100 TMax / 400 TMax / Portra 160 NC and VC / Portra 400 NC
and VC and Black and White Infrared Film will be with me all the
time.
